ACE Index

To develop successful antibodies for a protein, two critical factors are the number of epitopes targeted and the number of antibodies generated. Here we define a novel parameter, Antibody Cost Efficiency (ACE) index, to measure the cost effectiveness of antibody development:

Measured by the ACE index, SEAL™ antibodies are more than10-60 times more cost effective than polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies generated by traditional methods.Our long-term goal is to bring ACE of SEAL™ projects over 100 (equivalent to a cost of $500 for current SEAL™ products) by continuing technology innovations and process improvements.
